10 Nov Dr. Earl Jessup – November 2015
The fall church plants are complete, and we are now beginning work on our spring plants. Right now, there are at least three plants and all are in the Eastern United States. One is in Ohio, one in West Virginia and the other in North Carolina. We are very excited about these plants and how the Lord is working to put these together for the reproducing churches. The strategies are being developed, the John/Romans are being prepared, the helping churches are being contacted and the luncheons are being set up for these meetings. Please begin praying now for these plants and for others that are possibilities.
The last two plants of the year went well. As I mentioned in the last letter, the flooding in SC really hurt the Grand Opening Sunday of Gospel Light, but they are now in the high teens with several salvations and at least one baptism. They purchased a cattle tank to use for baptizing. Prayer of dedication for Gospel Light in Conway, SC.
The meetings for Atlee Baptist Church in north Richmond went very well and several pastors brought their church families to help. These pastors have helped in several other church plants in the Richmond area and have a great vision for reaching their area with the Gospel.
Pastor Owens cutting the cord to birth the church in Atlee, VA.
We are beginning to work on another church plant near the same area, but the population is growing so quickly, many more churches need to be birthed. Please pray for these new churches.
Please be watching for the annual “Reaping the Harvest” brochure that should be in your possession if you are on our mailing list. It was mailed a couple of weeks ago, but it is also on our website at http://bcpm.org/2015/10/20/reaping-the-harvest-2015/ for your viewing. You can participate in the offering through the website as well. We are praying for a good offering this year so we can continue to help these church plants without any cost to them. This is a great investment that will last for eternity. Please make this a matter of prayer.
Presently we are in meetings in PA, Canada, MI and OH. I am preaching several Faith Promise conferences as well as a couple of single services, along with meeting with our staff in Canada. Once we return home, Beth is scheduled for surgery on December 2 to correct some female issues. It will take at least six weeks to recover. We already have meetings booked from the middle of February through the end of March. Please pray she recovers quickly, and we can continue our schedule of meetings in the new year.
Thanks again for your concern, love and care for us. We are so thankful for all those who contact us and indicate they are praying for us. As we travel, we are amazed how many people are up to date on our ministry. It is so encouraging to us. Thank you for your investment of prayer and finances; we are eternally grateful. We are praying for each of you as well.
Co-laborers Together in the Great Commission,
Earl D. Jessup
