Dear Pastor and Church Family,
We have the blessed promise in Isaiah 1:18. “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow…” We have been having daily reminders of that truth even though we are now in the month of May! I cannot remember a year like this where we have had recurring snow; just last week we saw up to ten inches of heavy, wet snow.
The spring church plants have in most cases been impacted by adverse weather in one way or another. Sometimes it has been…

Dear Pastor and Church Family,
What a marvellous time of year. As we have traveled and preached across many miles this year we have come to know a multitude of ethnic backgrounds. In spite of the many differences it only took One Babe to become sin for each of us and give His life’s blood that we might have redemption. As the Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 5:10 “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall b…

Dear Pastor and Church Family,
It has been an exciting fall with the last of the church births completed for this year. The last two plants have been in Thornton CO and the other was Marion, OH. Some of the new births have had just a few visitors from the community while others have seen well over one hundred. Which of the churches are the most successful? God does not count success by numbers but by faithfulness to the one who redeemed us.
Plans are well under way to follow t…

Dear Pastor and Church Family,
It has been a busy church planting season!! The birth of the very first Baptist church in Markham, Ontario, took place the end of September. Pastors Brian Johnson and Pastor Scott Polhamus report that the reception of Hope Baptist Church by those who visited the Get-Acquainted Meetings was very positive. We praise the Lord for this report!
Pastor Chris Casillas, who will lead the Horizon Baptist Church in Thornton, CO, is busy…

Dear Pastor and Church Family,
As Baptist Church Planting Ministry enters the fall planting season, things are all in order and moving smoothly for the next five births.
Pastor Josh Irmler and the church family of Ambassador Baptist Church are preparing for Pastor Mark Irmler to birth the Crown Point Baptist church in Simi Valley, CA. Many hours a day have been invested for the past several weeks in distribution of the John/Romans in the area. Services will begin on…

Dear Pastor and Church Family,
Baptist Church Planting Ministry has now entered its 20th year of ministry. God has been so gracious to allow us the honor of assisting so many churches.
As we move through the summer months, I have the joy of hearing from pastors of many of the young churches. I am able to rejoice with them on the reports of their Vacation Bible Schools, youth going to Bible camp and outreach ministries that the pastors have been using to challenge their…

Dear Pastor and Church Family,
We are now starting the last half of 2012. We praise the Lord for the churches planted in the first half and to hear reports of how God is blessing each one. As we anticipate the fall plants, we are also approaching the 20th year of BCPM. We are expecting a record year of church plants this next year and will need your diligent prayers for our staff during this time.
The month of June closed with our girls holding an open house for our…

Dear Pastor and Church Family,
It is a great honor to continue to serve the Lord and you through the ministry of Baptist Church Planting Ministry. The spring church plants are complete and each one went smoothly and prosperously for our Lord. There were several individuals that made professions of faith, which is one of the reasons for planting churches!
One of the blessings that I have as the Field Representative is to keep in contact with many of the churches that hav…

Dear Pastor and Church Family,
May has gotten off to a wonderful start. The grass has been mowed several times; the lilacs and tulips are done blooming. What a great time God has given us to enjoy His marvelous creation. Here in Minnesota, we have had a good amount of rain to break the near drought conditions we had faced through last year and the last winter. We have had nearly five inches of rain in the last week alone. We have had a little hail with some minima…

Dear Pastor and Church Family,
The month of March and the early days of April have brought many blessings. We left for about three weeks on the road about the middle of March. We drove straight through from Minnesota to the Dallas, Texas, area. It was a blessing to bring a report to the Liberty Baptist Church in Frisco and to preach the Word to this growing congregation. It is always like going home when we are with Pastor Byrd and the church family. Please pray wit…
