The Growing Need for Pastors in Western Canada

I have been contacted by three churches needing pastors. They are as follows: Vernon BC “Okanagan Baptist Church” has four families (husband and wife) still meeting together who want to see the work continue in that town of 35m +.  They have a monthly operating budget of $1,000 per month. They have been without a Pastor for three months.
Kelowna BC “Peoples Baptist Church” is still looking for a pastor. Pastor Madle’s last day was the 29th of August. This church can support a pastor and his family.
High Level  Alberta “MacKenzie Highway Baptist Church” has about 25 people, is mortgage free, and can support a pastor for about 50% of a living wage (dependent on family size). They have been without a pastor for six (6) months and believe that some members that have left would return if they had a pastor.
If you know of someone who is seeking God’s will and direction please forward this information to them. Have them contact me at tomstastny@netscape.net if they desire contact information or want to know more about these assemblies.

I lived in Surrey BC, for almost one year and really loved western Canada but due to economic challenges we were forced to move to USA.
It was our dream to do ministry in Canada. I had the pleasure of preaching in Winnipeg, Regina and Toronto. if there is any way that I could get back that opportunity again it would be a dream come through.

I too have a heart for the Canadian Ministry. I was blessed to be part of a week long mission trip serving the great people of Nova Scotia. I pray for the opportunity one day to be able to relocate to the area and continue this work!
